Well, it was the first episode, and it wasn't the best one, they should be back in their groove next week though. That's how it was when I watched Slayers Revolution dubbed. They got their voices back by the second episode.Ishbalan wrote:Episode 1 of the English dub was even worse than I imagined. Most of the voices I grew up with now sound aged and forced. There's none of the spark left in it for me.

I love the way that they had Ed interact with that white character (The truth) with the dissolve outline around him. I thought the character design of it was just creepy, but incredibly awesome. I also thought that it was way better to have Ed go through to take the alchemy exam before having to go through a bunch of filler-quality stuff that spanned so many episodes. I liked it! I thought the voice actors were pretty on it, except the voice of Al. It sounds way to feminine. Overall, I think that the show is back.

is al a different va?
Al seems to go back and forth between a boyish voice and a girlish voice. When she gets the boy voice down, she sounds pretty spot-on to me.Dar wrote:ed's voice is excellent, al sounds like a little girl.
