It's just my Windows startup sound. The "Oh Yeah!" part of Yello - "Oh Yeah".

If you really want to hear it.

I'm not sure who would handle this, but the New York Anime Festival's AMV contest is still not listed in the org's contest list.

I assume that the following link would be used to add it, but it says that it should be completed by the contest admin. http://www.animemusicvideos.org/help/calendar/_admin/

Technically, any user can add contests to the list. However, the user who added a contest is considered that contest's admin and is therefore then responsible for confirming or denying the status of all videos claimed to be entered into that contest. That's why adding contests to the list is typically left to the actual contest coordinators these days.

Of course, I've noticed that no contest coordinators seem to bother to DO the whole confirm/deny thing anymore (they may have when the feature was first introduced a few years ago, but not anymore). (The way of telling if a video's been confirmed to have been in a contest is if that contest shows up in green and bold on the video's info page.)

^For some reason I thought green and bold meant that it won.

alright. I took care of it. If anyone wants to be listed as a NYAF 2009 participant, just edit your video info. I'll confirm you.

Is there a certificate or something for the winners? Or should I just go on enjoying the bragging rights?

Just yesterday I emailed about my prize, got a fast reply, and today received my prize Fedex.

Got my 'Best in Show' certificate, a 5 DVD set and 4 ..... somethings. From "Soul Eater". I THINK they are key covers. In any case, they are cool.

I just got mine in the mail today :-)
Its funny how we both must have sent them a message around the same time LOL. I sent my e-mail on December 24th and got a reply on the 28th.

Oh and, what anime did they send you? They sent me the 4 disc set of a romantic comedy called "Suzuka". It makes sense considering that I won the Best Drama/ Romance category. I'm so happy right now. I just gotta find a frame for the certificate.
