Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Your editing in this seemed pretty okay, you definitely seem to know what you're doing. I didn't care for the almost disgusting overuse of masking in the beginning of this video, but hopefully you'll get rid of that bad habit eventually. What I would really appreciate seeing you try to do is have a bit more of a concept in your video. It can still be actiony, or cool, have a lot of effects, AND have something to say. It's really important when you sit down to make a video, that you're not just editing for the sake of editing, because other editors or maybe even viewers will get bored when theres absolutely nothing consistent to follow. Your art can and should speak for itself, but you still have to tell it what to say (if that makes sense). Didn't really enjoy this all that much because of the above reasons, but I wouldn't really call it a total failure either.

The reason why your name is in the credits is because you gave me some advice that came in handy towards this video. Even though it wasn't for this video directly, it did help.

Yeah, I tried my hardest on the masks. I tried hard on them, and am myself proud of the outcome. I didn't think I would do so well.

i wanna be nostromo
Nostromo is in the credits for a reason. He's helped me a lot through PM. Recommended programs, gave me quality advice and advice on how to keep the pace up in my vids. It's only fair that I give him credit.

Pretty much my sentiments, but I liked it as a whole overall pretty well. Although I think you may have tried a little too hard on this one buddy.

If it didnt help the video directly, then dont put it in there.

You misunderstand. The advice you gave did help the video. But the advice you gave wasn't for this particular video. But I used it in this video, and thus, which is why you received credit.
