No, I have no clue what your saying.

I can capture vhs to my computer and my friend could get it done for me in college.

And DVD+Rs cost less than a candy bar..

so it wouldn't be expensive to do.

They once belonged to a **vedddddddy, veddddddy* ancient twibe... now, it's just known as 'tape'.

Now, be kind to your elders before we beat you with our walkers/canes.
Now, don't feel bad. It's not you, it's me. I Don't Like You. -.-

They didn't realize you had a domesticated geek handy. Common schmucks always buy the wrong brand of blank media, never on sale and in the wrong quantity.
They then compound their error by thinking they need to rent a vcr to dvd recording machine. Thankfully they realize you don't actually need to buy them.

Heh... I still have the Bubblegum Crisis OVA collectors box, AD Police Files, Yotoden, Bastard... probably a half dozen more all collecting dust.

Heh, takes me back... in the day (before Al Gore invented the internet)... living in the land of corn as I do... it was hard to get a hold of any anime other than via mail order. Now... Walmart even carries several titles.

My buddy remembers the vhs days as the time when he was god, and we the newbies of our group considered his collection of episode 1 tapes (first shows of various animes) were mana from heaven.

Then one day myself and another friend ended up with broadband, and he lost his god status.

Granted, he has a massive dvd library, and the best I can do is tempt him with the latest downloaded subs as he doesn't have broadband (his choice though, he has 4 times my income).

The only anime I have on VHS and still own is Princess Mononoke. I'm amazed that it still works after all the times I watched it. XD

Haven't touched my VHS collection in ages, but it's still there. I still use my VCR to tape my TV shows to watch on the weekend and such.
Probably too busy to be here right now.
