It´s a filler. Everytime you say the name of the bad site, than there is boochsack instead filled in.

I found some of mine on the tube and I've noticed it doesn't matter if the person takes credit or not. In the ones I found the person clearly wrote that it was not their video but the comments were full of the 'wow you're great make more' type things. Which just goes to show that A) the tube has no taste and B) just by putting up the video the person is going to be given credit no matter what they say. Personally I figure fuck it, if they get the blame for that piece of shit then they're welcome to it.

Also of note, I found all three MEPs I've headed on the org. They were put there by people who were in the MEP. I'm not talking about those here, the person had every right to put it up if they wanted and at most I'll just wonder 'why would you admit to being part of that?'. Especially since they were the only ones that linked back to the videos org profile which is kinda nice.

I've taken to taking over their comments pages, responding to all the comments and such and directing them to my website ... :P

Now if people start actually profiting from AMVs on youtube (especially ones they themselves didn't make)... things are gonna get a bit ugly...

No. Because unlike us, they have the law on their side so they could stop us (to some extent) if they felt we were stealing credit from them. The fact that they haven't even tried to stop us means they don't feel as strongly about it as your average editor does when he flags his own stolen vids on That Site.

Or maybe the animators don't care =P

Unfortunately, I don't have any videos of mine ripped from YouTube (Although if I ever did, that would be the day...), but I have seen stolen videos before. While I agree that stealing videos are horrible, the worst is when someone takes your hard work (You know, those days you spent just timing and syncing the darn footage) and claims it for themselves =P

On another note, what's quite annoying is when dozens of people upload the same freaking video. Do we really need 20 copies of it? (Example A and Example B)

Yeah, I can just picture Hideaki Anno stumbling on KC's Engel and then stomping and snorting and writing a very angry letter to his lawyers.

I really doubt any animators would care. Publishers/distributors? That's another matter, but as far as I'm concerned, it wasn't theirs to begin with and never will be.

That actually happened back at AX 98-99 or something.

It wasn't anno, but another producer who saw it at the closing ceremonies who got really pissed off.
