At first, I thought it resembled the Madonna video only slightly. When I got to the part with Robin with her hands on the screen I was like "Woah". That is really cool.

uh, in the biz, that's called a tribute...A rip off would be if they took the actual video and pasted robins face on madonnas!

You know the Japanese love her so it's no surprise they would find "inspiration" in one of her videos. Now if the song had been similar in beat and form, then that would be a "rip-off". Otherwise, it's just typical of Japanese animators' resourcefulness/creativity. Certainly there is a lot of similarity that can't be dismissed. I just think it's cool.

Of course, ROBIN is so much sexier than Madonna ever was, IMO.

Heh... if a video mimicked an anime OP, the fans would be howling bloody murder and raining deathwishes upon everyone involved. Now it's like "Oh... wait... uh... how very very clever of them. It shows how immensely original and unique they are to pay 'homage' to something else! Yeah."
