Oh, this isn't for the video I'm working on now - I decided to put off the character profile and do a different story for it. But I would like to have a trilogy for this anime, so I'm looking for at least one more song that would fit - if it's about loss, that might work perfectly for the character profile (he's completely isolated most of the time - sadly enough, but 'Bring Me to Life' would be perfect for him - but that's not the romantic idea I'm looking for a song to use). Now I'm just really wanting to hear some soft dramatic and haunting songs - but with fast sections at least in the middle or end. I figured this was as good a time to ask as ever. ^_^;flint_the_dwarf wrote:I know of one really good one... but I really doubt it would work, because it's more about loss.![]()
Heh, you have some great songs. But so far all of the ones you've introduced me to are 'off-limits' so that doesn't help me at all. ;p I'd need a song you aren't planning to make your own video for. ^.~I think you could definitely like it, though, so you might want to check it out anyway. The song is "Different Worlds" by Evergrey and I think it would make a great video. Just... not for this one. It's possibly the most angsty song I have ever heard, and really haunting. It's not actually about lost love or anything, but it can easily be interpreted that way."State of Paralysis" off the same album is also really good.
Yeah, I say 'puppy love' because I'd like to do a video that doesn't really focus on the romance (I'm *doing* a romantic one first, but it's *really * romantic as in possible future romance). What I'd like is a song that's more about emotions and just good old fashioned love - eternal type love that doesn't rely on the people being together - just knowing the other is happy - that sort of 'idealistic' romantic theme because the characters don't end up being together at all - and they have to live with that, still in love but apart. That's what made Rose Thorne (my muse ^.~ ) recommend Evanescence - they have a lot of those sorts of songs.Sorry this isn't much help right now, most of the songs I listen to aren't anything fitting of puppy love.
An instrumental song would be excellent for this, but I know of 12 - the ones I got from my old Kenshin soundtrack - but they just don't fit the mood of the footage at all. I don't listen to enough non-disco instrumental music.
