Too bad it's the same fucking show dumbass. If you actually paid attention, Samurai X has a reversible cover that says "Rurouni Kenshin" on it.

ADV is a bunch of dumbasses and didn't wanna sell the same title that Mediablasters was also selling and thus changed the title.

So your precious Samurai X (who happens to be named Himura Kenshin) is the same character in Rurouni Kenshin...dumbass.
Wow, I never saw that rant coming
But you still love me right you hottie?

And seriously, the guy had it coming using his homophobic statements and bad spelling...I mean if you're gonna say something stupid, might as well try and spell correctly and at least disguise the ignorance in something similar to intelligence right?

I personally think the moment in the "Kaoru's Engagement Ring" episode where a drunk Kaoru punches kenshin through a wall while he goes "Orooooooo~~~~~" is pretty damn funny.
i would have to agree

I agree that RK is proably one of th ebetter animes out there and Ive seen the alot of them.

I love it cause of the history richness. Im a HUGE buff of history and a bigger buff of Japanese History. Ive decorated my room as a traditional japanese 18th centruy home (except now sliding door).

Id have to admit I find Samurai X alot better then RK. Both the Tsuiokuhen and the Seisouhen are awesome!

I'd rather watch Kenshin cut a man in half then watch two imganitive robots duke it out in space (no offense to Gundam lovers cause im one to)

Samurai X is Kenshin as a 16 year old and RK is him at 27
So they are not the same show like chang said they were

Its the same story line with the same character, which in the end = same show. Just because he gets older dosent meen its a different show, so your defense is kind of lacking there. :O

And please for the love of god do not use words like "gay" to describe ur dislike of an anime without having an actual statement to back that up :/

ok Samurai X tells how he began with meeting Hiko and learning HitenMiturugi and being with Tomoe
also he was a mass killer(doing his job)
hence the name Hitokiri Battousai(Demon that draws sword)
RK tells how he changed and found a real family and how he vowed never to kill again and a few other details im not getting into right now because im trying to play diablo2

even though im playing i still reply to post that involve me

I think dwchang's point was also that the actual title of the OVAs is 'Rurouni Kenshin', the same as that of the TV series. The titular difference only arises in the Western version.

Yes, and oddly enough, the Rurouni Kenshin movie is titled simply 'Samurai X.' Hard to miss the connection there. ^_^;;
