I don't exactly considering this video to be a troll video, but in a way you can see it as such. If I had just exported an empty timeline then sure, but then I wouldn't be able to have entered it in the catalog (as it contains no source from anime.) It's more to prove a point then to really troll. However, it was also a serious entry for the finals. I was asked to show my true persona, and well, I did. Sorry there isn't anything there but I really don't know my true persona anymore. I've kept up so many acts over my life I've forgotten who the real me is.

I read the description and I understand what it is about. Everyone is a blank slate and they change constantly each and everyday. New experiences and new choices change the person and make them someone different then what they were yesterday. That much I do understand. However, too me, it just looks like a video where someone didn't even edit. They just left the timeline blank and called it a video. But, again, too me, it just looks like a video that look like someone didn't put any effort into it.

Personal opinion, sorry. Maybe I could've worded what I've said in my previous post a bit better than that... but I'm still standing by my opinion. You don't have to change your opinion cause of me but I just disagree with this video.

There is one thing I'm curious about. It says that there is a "Making of" of this video. I'm sure if I saw it, I'll be more inclined to change my opinion, honestly.

Edit: Found it. And... I dunno... still don't think it was that good...

You're original reaction is one I expect to get with this video. It's the same reaction most people gave 4'33" upon first hearing it. And well, pretty much the reaction I have witnessed first hand both with this video (showing it to people) as well as my experiences with 4'33".
There is a reason I like to call the making of video "or how I spent 3 days making actual anime look like something I could have popped out in a few mins with a couple of lines in an avs script!"

Would have used an actual recording of 4'33" so you could point to the Wikipedia page when you were dq'd for not having any music... Or at least credit it as such.
