Re: Haters Gonna Hate!
Seems like the Panty & Stocking AMVs I watch fall into two distinct categories: those that make me remember why I did not watch more than one episode of that series, and those that make me want to watch more episodes. This one landed in the latter category - made me want to go and investigate some of the craziness going on!
I liked that this video kept pretty well centered on showing specific "incidents" (can't think of a better word, at the moment) and following through on them to some kind of punchline. The first third seemed "tighter" in this respect than later on.
In watching this over again a few times, one question I have - when the Demon Sisters show up, was the intent for the AMV to take a different direction at this point and focus on the conflict with them? I got a little confused around that point, wondering who was whose henchmen and how all the scenes related to one another. Again, this may be because earlier on things were so well laid out and really stood on their own - I was expecting the same in the latter part of the video, but got a little lost. Sync was good, of course - kept up the style of the series and there were definitely some great scenes that will come to my mind whenever I think of this AMV!
4/5
Love the poster, btw.

The first third of the video was to introduce Panty and Stocking to the viewers, then to introduce their nemesis, the Demon Sisters. I knew going into it that I wanted to have the epic Car Battle during the first bridge, so, it worked out that way ... Just like I knew the attacking flies would be perfect for the second bridge, since the guitar kinda sounds like a buzzing fly to me.DriftRoot wrote:Seems like the Panty & Stocking AMVs I watch fall into two distinct categories: those that make me remember why I did not watch more than one episode of that series, and those that make me want to watch more episodes. Glow-in-the-dark dildos,
one of the many ultimate reasons I watch this anime, and this AMV.
Omg that ending is so

This for the most part. But it was nice to watch overall, I liked it.DriftRoot wrote: I liked that this video kept pretty well centered on showing specific "incidents" (can't think of a better word, at the moment) and following through on them to some kind of punchline.
