Anime Vegas peoples.

I am moving to Las Vegas soon and I am going to enter the Anime Vegas cons and dress up as my own character. I would like to get to know friends in Anime Vegas, so I don't have to be alone and make friends. It is hard. Plus my mother would not let me go alone. =I

Well, my brother lives in Vegas, but he's not into AMVs. I thought about going to Anime Vegas one year when I visit him, so maybe when I do I'll give you a call. Just not this year.

I've never been to an anime con at Vegas before, even though I've lived here for 2 years so far, so idunno what it's like. But it looks small, to be honest. =\ The next one is coming up in Sept. and since my friends just moved here for the first time, I'm planning to go with them since they're huge anime fanatics. ^_^ I probably can't go with you, but probably can meet up.

I went in 2005, yes, it is a smallish convention but it's fairly new, only a few years old. The convention center is a few minutes north of downtown Las Vegas. In 2005, it was on Halloween weekend so there were a lot of people dressed up, not just at the convention. It was a lot of fun just being in the area. But a little hot for my costume (I wore a long tunic with a cape, yikes!). If you're moving there, you might want to think about volunteering to help out at the con also.

I might go this year, dunno yet. It's Labor Day weekend.
