Dosen't the EADFAG say you can do either? :?
EADFAG wrote: It's not difficult to remove it after the video is edited but the best way of removing interlacing from NTSC video is to recover the original film frames using a process called Inverse Telecine or IVTC. This works best when done before you edit - it is very difficult to successfully IVTC after you have edited the source.
mostly it talks about 1 type of de-interlacing... i read that to mean De-interlace first...

well why not just use the WMV for now?

and maybe try compressing "test clips" before jumping into compressing a full video?

That's what I was thinking. I need to step back for a bit and then see what I can do.

XD no stress either way, cause this is a hobby afterall...

(also why i never pestered you about other kinds of compressions, you seem to be having fun with it, so keep doing what youre doing for now...)

taking baby steps is good

Yes, and Vegas is my next big step, I think. *gulp* I have no user manual or instructions. My brother in law put in on the computer he gave us because he knows I like to...and I quote here "my gay anime movies". Throw in a little yaoi and the straight boys start freaking out! LOL
