FLCL - Embrace The Pain

Post by kickass331 » Sun Apr 22, 2007 4:47 pm

This is my latest AMV... I think it turned out pretty well. The ending is kind of lame, but overall I think it's pretty good. Give me your thoughts.

Info : http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=142926
Song : Maximum the Hormone - Zetsubou Billy
Anime : FLCL

P.S. The reason why it skips is not because I made it do that, if anybody knows how to fix skipping in Adobe Premier Pro 2.0, I would be very pleased.

I was going to check it out, but then I saw 60 megs, so I changed my mind.

.mkv format? Why?

60 megs isn't that big, a normal anime episode is between 170 and 350 mb. I have to have it at 60 megs for it to be of good quality. I also used MKV because it turned out to have the best compression and quality in this case.

It's big for my connection and I'm not downloading for a full episode. >_>

Well, I guess you usually use RMVB or whatever. Sorry, I can't compress it any further without lowering the quality. What is your speed anyways?

Since the site can't derive these stats for Matroska files... resolution? Frame rate? Video codec used? Did you compress the audio?

Of course, given that this is FLCL, it's possible that there may be a lot of high-motion scenes in the video that are just impossible to compress nicely.

I would like some input on how to sync things exactly... I do try making the songs fit with the clips. I have been working on an AMV for the last couple hours, and I took my time on it, so as long as I can fix the skipping it should be a good example of my best effort. I'm sorry, I've been having trouble making AMVs because my program is screwing up.
