Well, then prove it. *^_^* This is like anything else in the art world. You either need connections (AKA someone of influence who can vouch for your skills or be willing to give you a chance because they know you well.) or a portfolio so you can prove your skills to someone who knows nothing about you. And said portfolio generally isn't random crap thrown together. (unless you really are that much of a skilled genius that you can get away with that.) Its stuff that really and truly shows your skill as an artist. Which is what all these MEPs are looking for. You can say you have skills all you want, but until you prove that you have the skills you say you do, you're going to keep getting the same reaction.
