Where do I go for real critique over opinion exchange.

Post by xoverburnx » Thu Apr 05, 2007 3:11 pm

Since its not done yet, I uploaded the video on youtube. I'm looking for opinions but can I participate in the op exchange if my video is not on a fileserver?

If its an unfinished vid that you want a critique, opinion, advice, etc on before you export the finished product, then you can stick it in the op exchange thread (or the mods will move this one) and ask people to critique it. (Just make sure you label it as an unfinished vid or the flaming and possibly lockage will commence.) If you wanted to give ops in exchange for a critique, that would be fine. You would probably get more critiques that way. But you can't announce finished youtube vids here without at least a catalogue entry nor can you do op exchanges with them.

ive seen both used for such things...

its better to have an actual export and not a tube link
use yousendit.com or savefile.com or megaupload.com if you dont have your own host

How long does Megaupload store my files?

Your files will be stored forever as long as you are a premium member. If you are a registered user without premium status, your files will be stored until at least 90 days after their last download (you can manually restart that expiration period at any time in the file manager). A file that was uploaded anonymously (that is not owned by any Megaupload user) will be deleted no sooner than 21 days after the last time it was downloaded.

i had a file on savefile.com for almost a year O.o because people kept dling it and the 90 days never lasted... the only reason it was deleted was because they reformatted their site...

bigupload.com gives you a "delete page" if you want it O.o

filefront.com

theres lots of them out there

it's a bit slow to upload to, but MyDataBus works well for file hosting.
