Great feature, although the privacy flags have me a bit skeptical about the end usefulness of this, but it has great potential and has been a long time coming. Not being able to see who is watching makes a lot of sense.

Do you get notified every time I visit your profile to check if you've got new vids up?
No.

This feature is for members who watch videos, so they don't have to constantly check your profile to see if you've uploaded a new vid, not so editors who make videos know who their "hardcore fans" are.

Be happy with your privacy flag, which at least for video uploads is pretty stupid since you can already just check their profile, and alerts are supposed to eliminate the need to constantly do that.

Out of idle curiosity, do you have any way to tell when someone does a google search on you? Cause that has a lot more to do with stalking than getting a notification that you uploaded a new video.

No, but I'm not notified of the exact number of people who google me either, so I don't think about it

This site works from two different perspectives. Those who create videos, and those who are just here to enjoy them. Perhaps when you upload a video, you'll see that knowing who appreciates what you've made is valued by creators. What, do we think so highly of ourselves that we don't care?

I don't think that what Doki had in mind when he coded it was "I don't want people seeing who their "hardcore fans" are". But I suppose you'd have to ask him. It's not a necessary feature, just one that would be nice to have. The only problem I see is that maybe some members don't want it known that they're watching someone's profile. But if you like their videos, why hide it?

Phew! Getting worn out from all the Doki glomps lately. Anyhow, this is probably one of the coolest yet. Some of my friends keep releasing vids without me knowing and then I get a big surprise when I go to their profile and there's all these vids there.

So this will definately come in handy. *^_^* Thanx Doki! *GLOMP*
