International entries are welcomed.

Technically no, though that's what I'm going to be basing it on. Take it as a recommendation rather than a rule, I'm not fond of it but I had to put it in there. If there are no visible subs, divx logos etc, I'm not going worry. And "fansubs/downloaded footage" does this only apply to subtitles being present in an AMV? Because there are various high quality raws available these days...
And to be really honest, you know the general rule that we should be buying the DVDs as a contribution for obvious reasons. If you already have the DVDs and was also able to land your hands on some good quality raws you've downloaded from a P2P client then I wouldn't think there is much problem. The rule is there only to give people a push. I'm sure it's blatantly obvious that these things are not 100% possible to police.Bloodnok wrote:Technically no, though that's what I'm going to be basing it on. Say, how do you define 'international norms'. It sounds too obscure to extract anything productive. If you could define what you mean then it would be great because it could even help progress this competition!Lockstock wrote:Good to see some changes from last year's horrible rule set, however it still lacks the consistency with international norms required to make it a worthwhile competition for the Australian AMV community, let alone the international community.
Better luck next year I guess...
