I plan to be at the panel. We'll see about lunch though. I haven't started studying the schedule yet...JudgeHolden wrote:I'm not sure what the Newbies Panel is. I think it just an intro to what AMVs are (i.e. the history of AMV and how to play them ... and Classic AMVs).anubisx00 wrote:JudgeHolden:
Are you doing two panels? I see AMV's for Newbies on Friday and AMV Creation on Saturday. In the 2007 suggested panels I only see AMV Creation.
But, the Creation Panel is the how to.

I'll be at detour this year. I don't think I've made a contest worthy AMV yet, even though I got 2nd place at AnimeIowa. If I ever submit one to detour I want it to be flawless. Um, that's it for me I guess. I'm going to try to attend a lot of the amv pannels. There seems to be more this year then last year!

Contest Worthy!? A little more bread please would have been a great entry to the contest. I really think you have entered it. You can still however do the WTF, Jo takes those till the day of the contest.
For the record, all of my friends love a little more bread please. I even burned it to dvd so i can watch it while i am on the road.

Here's something that has been kinda bugging me. On Friday the 23rd I don't get out of school till 2pm, I figured I'd skip track and go directly to the convention so I'd probably arrive around 2:40.But as of now there are only around 800 available spots for people who haven't pre-registered. I'm wondering how quickly those will go during the roughly 4.5 hours that I won't be there. Does anyone who went last year have any idea how quickly they went?

! My head hurts too
. I recommend everybody drink plenty of water and eat good food! Potato chips and peanuts don't count. And to whoever thought of putting a veggie tray in the consuite, thank you! I've never been happier to see broccoli ^_^.
