The first would be drama, unless you're talking about laughing so hard that you cry. The second depends on what the videos like but probably would be drama or dance or, in the case of a Req video, crap.
This site would probably avoid those issues, since we're not tagging articles / article summaries, but analogous problems might crop up. Haven't given it enough thought yet.
This is the same site where it's users have a couple dozen different spellings in the database for 'Linkin Park' and at least one of those misspellings is so damned common it's on the most used musical artist list. That shit isn't even slightly subjective, it's a simple fact and people on this site fuck it all up. This is also the fact that once you add anything even remotely subjective you end up with tons of videos that claim to be every single category possible. What are the odds there wouldn't be analogous problems if tags were implemented?

Actually one of the most common myths about #AMV is that we actually talk about AMVs. I've been active in IRC for years and the only time I can remember talking about AMVs is when someone has just finished a video and wants to pimp it.
same would go for announcements though O.o

I can sum up why this is a fucking retarded idea with 7 words:

This video has nothing to do with....

Personally I wouldn't want more tags because I think it would get unecessarily messy to search for things. Especially with those videos that select anything and everything under the sun to get attention.

But of all the drama videos you watch, only a few are going to make each viewer personally cry. Tagging would allow users to make personal lists of such videos that they could revisit easily, without having to clutter up the view for other users who might not share their feelings on said videos.

We <i>are</i> talking about tags that are only visible to the tagger, right?
