I reverse that rule invokation by pointing you to the 1978 addition of the International Addendum which states "During international travel, rules involving area specific tokens are null and void. In the case of someone attempting to hijack a previously aquried station from you by referring to one of these rules you may gain that station back as well as A: take a free move or B: put that player in spoons for 4 turns."
