The First Time I usually watch them on my Comp, without headphones, then I put the Vid on my Ipod and watch it either with my Special cute little boxes (with awesome sound :O) or with headphones =]

and sometimes..not often..but sometimes..i watch them on my TV after I put them on DVD :)

On my HDTV and 21 inch monitor with 6.1 surround sound(sometimes headphones). In my living room. And on a futon with a starry night designed cover.

Monitor and monitors :P
(I have a pair of what I prefer to call high-quality monitors)

I do use speakers when I can, but it's usually impracticable not because of embarassment but because we have conflicting sonic space demands here at home - I like to listen to things at high volume, other people like things to be quiet. So, I generally don't.

As for the 'entourage' - for the most part I don't mind, though it depends on what it is. I don't think I want to watch any HMVs on this with my mom in the room
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I use the speakers unless my roommate is sleeping or busy studying. I prefer to watch full screen video on my 20" wide screen monitor @ 1680x1050 and I'll judge quality based on that resolution as well.

I used to watch full screen (1680x1050 22") but then I stopped. I think I'll start again

Usually just on my monitor. But when I lived with my parents, I had my mac mini hooked up to their hueg liek xbawx HDTV and watched all of my 16:9 videos on it. It was AWESOME.

I cant stand watching anything with headphones.
I cant even play games with headphones anymore... so, I watch my amv's with my speakers. Gives a better feeling, and the sound is so much better.

i edit with headphones on cause i assume that the bits of song on loop would disturb neighbors...

but watching they may just think im listening to a random song... so i sometimes dont bother...

i eat when im hungry editing or no watching videos or no showering or no...

Headphones, monitor. I'm not embarrassed, because I know too many otaku; it's just a courtesy to my neighbors. Besides, I just feel like I hear all of the sound better through headphones, whether or not that's actually true.

I only edit with headphones on because it makes me less conscious of the repetition factor. In fact, for the first time today I overheard a friend editing without headphones, and it was just as annoying as I suspected. ^_^; Repeating the same half-second of a song over and over at varying speeds is much worse without context.
