I watch and edit with headphones on, and preferably with a big bag of Dorito chips nearby

Speakers, with AMVs playing on my second monitor, and other stuff on the first. I do that a lot.

Hmm... well...

I (mentally) view my amvs as a freaking work of ART!! ;p but...

I (physically) view my amvs on a 19" lcd 4:3 monitor. A pos, but all the same... I did have a 27" wide screen lcdtv... but Ileia broke it somehow...

But what you probably meant is I listen to my amvs, by default, through a pair of speakers. It gets kind of annoying cuz my roommates complain from time to time... but I just like the freedom of speakers rather than being tethered to your chair with a headphones chord.

UNFORTUNATELY I have skype where I have to plug in my headset every time. Treble doesn't make it out of speakers very well, so I typically plug my earphones portion in as well for this. Sometimes I forget to unplug it for days so, like I said... by default *.*

When making AMVs I make sure and test both listening methods

Just out of curiosity, is english your native language? I'm willing to bet cash no one here has a entourage in the typical sense, but used as a replacement for anyone associated with you makes sense.

Fullscreen, sound blasting out of my stereo (especially to appreciate any kickin' bass), sitting back in mah comfy desk chair, totally absorbed. (Unless it doesn't appeal to me at all, then I usually just cut it off midway)

I'll eat junk like crazy when I edit, mainly the salties, and I usually have my headphones at dangerously loud settings, switching to the stereo on the rare instances where I need more range in the sound. Who needs hearing when you're old? :X

Seriously, thanks for the info. I'm guessing entourage only means like a royal court or something? I blame my french.

depends on a few things...
if the resolution is high(er) then I'll consider the full screening
if it's small(er) then I just suffer through it, I may increase the size a bit...but it's not easy to make something that's 352x240 look good fullscreened.

Most of the time I'll listen to them with my speakers (Logitech x-230's...which I guess are notorious for too much bass even at the lowest setting. I have no problem with it and think that other people don't know the appeal of a "balanced" sound :?. I blame 6 years of band class in school)
but usually if my roommate is in the room or it's late I'll use my headphones (which still turn out good sound)

Regular size, turned up loud on the speakers. And I usually watch them on my TV too after I put them on a VCD.

That's...it really. I do use WMP though for songs I like so I can keep it playing on constant repeat in the lower corner while I do other stuff, not just with mine though, it can vary just as long as I like the song and the vid.
