Mornington Crescent - casual play
As we all know half the fun of Mornington Crescent is the excitement of going head to head, the pressure of coming up with a strategy while the clock is ticking, the pulse pounding give and take of a live match. Unfortunately it seems the Mornington Crescent players on this site can't manage to get online at the same time so here's a more casual game where the usual time limit is relaxed. We'll lose some of the excitement but oh well.
Standard London School of Economics rules apply with the addition of the Basingstoke slow play add-on. Since the Basingstoke rules are rarely called into play perhaps it would be wise to remind everyone that all they really say is that the usual fevered pitch of the game is slowed down considerably and a person has 24 hours from last play to make their move. Unlike usual you do not automatically forfeit for missing the time limit either, instead you just miss your turn and play goes to the next available player with the skipped player able to rejoin the game at their next normal turn.
So I shall start. Wembley Park.

I wish to make the game slightly more interesting by evoking the Irish table of chaotic events. In accordance with certified rules I must roll Two D100s -2 and confer with the offical table of events.
I have rolled a 56 and a 73, 129 - 2 = 127
The 127th Item in the Irish table of chaotic events states "There has been a massive Black out and the trains will cease to function for an indeterminate amout of time."

You forget that Irish, Scottish, and British chaos tables are considered null during the Six Nations tournament.Fall_Child42 wrote:I wish to make the game slightly more interesting by evoking the Irish table of chaotic events. I take Knightsbridge.

You know if my thread asking how to play this weren't unrealistically and unrightfully locked without explination, I'd know how to play this damn game.

No, I do believe I'll just spam/ruin this thread instead.
I navigate your pawns to Mornington Crescent. I win.

In the event somone tries to move the players to Mornington Crescent before the well known Tea Clause, where one must have had one cup of tea with lemon during 4 O'clock Greenwich Mean time, where of course you must insult the French, The Irish table of chaotic events is put immediately into play.
I roll again
54 + 2 - 2 = 54.
It seems SQ has eaten too many pies and is now spooned for 6 turns. Under this circumstance the people are so confused by seeing such a glutton walk around they rush home and tell their neighbour immediately, thus returning everyone to starting position.
Thanks alot SQ. >:[

As such, under the Standard London School of Economics rules, when the Irish Table of Chaotic Events is in play, I may envoke the Nuts and Blots on SQ, putting her into Spoons for 4 turns after she's served her original 6.
(also just a reminder under Nuts and Bolts, the standard play of players turns being in order is nullified while the amount of turns Spooned is being served.)
And so I move the game to Green Park
