I think it would be interesting if an AMV were carefully constructed to the BR trailer. I would do this myself if my capture card didn't come from the early 90's.... <.<;

I'm excited about Battle Royale 2 myself. In bad and good ways. It would exploit everything the first movie stood for.......but not like I'm not gonna go see it in theaters the day it comes out

Yes, scheduled for 2003 summer release. Principle photopgraphy begins this winter. That's quite a schedule if they're gonna finish a friggin movie in that timeframe...

But the truth is they have to work pretty quickly. Director Kinji Fukusaku announced that he has cancer, and is likely to succumb to it. He expressed his desire to continue with making films until his death. Wow.....

Thankfully I'll be back in Japan when its released.

Battle Royale 2?! OMG! I Cant wait!!! Thats really sad that he got cancer though

I was making a Battle Royale vid a little over a year ago... I was doing it to the opening song from the movie. Got about half way through and just decided it wasn't turning out like I wanted so I scrapped it.

Well then you should do the trailer!!!!!! The trailer IS the opening song ("Requiem") And it's relatively short with some badass quotes from Takeshi.

If someone doesn't do it, I'm gonna have to get a good friggin video capture card and do it myself.

So, is this going to be another class or something? I guess it'd be ok to see, but I thought the first movie finished the circle it created pretty well. I'm just not seeing it, but...
