You never know. When I get the rest of the tracks, yours might blend nicely into them. We'll wait until I have all the songs from all members before deciding whose tracks don't fit.

Alrighty. Doing some confirming with some members about song choice, still awaiting one or two songs, but otherwise, got the mix going.

09:42 so far, and it's a compressed .WAV so the quality isn't top notch, and I still have to do a bit of tinkering with the mix in some parts, but hey, it's a beta.

Songs included in the beta are from DJ-san, Aerialesque, Scott Green, Arkada, Sayde, Inthesto, myself, and angel234.

Project FMV Track Mix: Beta

If anyone has a problem with the part of the song I chose, let me know. I ask that everyone in this project downloads and listens to the beta, so you can get an idea of A) where your track is going to start/end, and B) the type of song choice we're looking for, for those of you who still need a track.

I ask that no one complains of their position in the project (i.e you want to be near the beginning of the project and not the end), because this is really the only way I can combine the songs and make them flow nicely. And with all the trouble it's causing just getting it this way, asking to change your position in the project will cause a bigger Take-headache. Your position in the project does not mean I like you more or less than others, of course. I'm not that mean =P

imo, the crossover at 5:00 was a litte strange sounding. 7:33 stopped abruptly, but it didnt sound bad. other then that, i think i need to play some more guitar hero and see which songs fit this a little better.

I rather like the mix. I'm gonna need to change what I had in mind for my segment because of the cut in the middle but it shouldn't be a problem at all.

yeah seriously the mix sounds more like heavy metal than post-rock but i guess i'll send the link to my song and see if it can fit in somehow, otherwise i'll search for more heavy stuff.

@Take: Great mix so far!!!!!

Only a few things to mention....
04:10 - The transitions sounds a little strange, but really don´t know how to change....(maybe it´s because it´s my own song)
05:53 - Please do not make a break here, start a little earlier with the next song.....

That was all.....

Glad to hear that it's mostly positive comments on the mix.

A couple things:

AMV_4000: 7:33 is about 5 seconds into my song, not blending tracks =\ Where did you find the abrupt stop?

Arkada: OMG I'm sorry O.o My PMs got deleted (because Take-san is silly and clicked Delete All and not Marked, I blame spam) and I couldn't quite remember what part of the song you specified, if any. I really didn't want to make you change your plans, so I'll gladly switch back to the part of the song you want.

Oropher: I got your song, and it's a little mellow-er than the rest of the project songs, yes, but I should be able to fit it in fine. If you decide on something heavier, no problems.

Scott: Aw, fudge. That was the one part of the mix I thought I blended together well >.> You're losing it, Take-baka. And 5:53 jumped on me =\ I had that track start earlier, but I think I clicked something before saving and it went WHEE LET'S JUMP AHEAD A BIT.

To everyone: No one panic, this is still just a beta =P I highly doubt the final mix will even be in the same order. I just need the rest of the songs first, and we'll see how it goes from there.

Unsure Take-san speaking here, aside from some technical blending quick fixes, everyone else is confident with me making the mix? Starting to have doubts whether I can do this to please everyone while still making an alright mix o.o;;

The original segment that I wanted was from 1:29 - 2:14, but if its easier to leave it as it is I don't mind.
