dvd ripping help

Um, is that image supposed to be a link to a higher-resolution one? Because that's way too small for anyone to be able to read the error message.

That's because there isn't one, except on certain boards (AMV Contests, AMV Announcements, Multi-Editor Projects, Recommended AMVs?).

It's either a dirty or scratched disc, or there may be some funky copy protection going on (the "Inserting Dummy Sectors" message is a indication). You may want to try another DVD ripper like DVDFab Decrypter.

ok i tried that it got to vob 5 and said an error occured and it than shut down. i tried the rest of my dvd's and it got to vob 5 and an error occured. i clean the disks multiple times but nothing works. it used to be ok but now it's not working.

Do any other DVDs rip OK?

At this point, I going to say it's your DVD drive that's dying, or more likely, the actual DVD is going bad. I've had DVDs become unplayable before (Excel Saga), so it within the realm of possibilities.

yes i have tried all my dvd's they go to vob 5and than it does not work. do you know what could be wrong with my dvd drive?

somebody suggested that i use a laser lens cleaner CD disc will that work?
