this guide shows you how you can remove the subtitles for free, its a very handy guide... and if youre using windows movie maker, crop the subs off in Vdub like the guide says BEFORE you edit...

it tells you step by step how to get it done, the divx logo can be just as annoying as the subtitles, especially if its flashing in a corner... either that or just dont edit using divx/xvid encoded clips as they are buggy and tend to not work right anyways, its best to avoid that all together and just use lagarith encoded files or Huffyuv
what would irk me more is if i posted all this in the tube comment and 4 months later someone bitched at me for daring to "insult" their favorite video... and yes its happened...
