After all these years of growth we had a little stagnancy last year. As a result we try to increase the number and the quality of the AMVs sent in by offering new Sub-Contests. As there always was some criticism to our wish to show exclusive videos, we introduce a FFA Contest, allowing everyone to send in their latest work.
Nonetheless the Classic Contest is still existing to show exclusive work no one has seen before (except for the editor and the judges
).The third part is about editing an AMV to a given song. The song is German and can be obtained via download from the official website. I am really interested in what a not German speaking creator can make of this.
So feel free to enter any of these three contest.

The Connichi is one of the biggest Anime and Manga related convention in Germany with about 12,000 visitors. It takes place in Kassel on September 7th to 9th. Last year more than 1000 people saw the very best entries in the great hall of the Kongress Palais.
