If you would like to see more denoising filters in action, Scintilla has written up a nice comparison of some of them <a href="http://www.aquilinestudios.org/avsfilters/">here</a>.
Ohhhhhhh, hell.

But thank you for finally putting up a list of just WHAT-all goes into the AMVapp. The lack of such a list was one of my big annoyances with the last installment (since I never installed the thing, so how do I know whether or not you already have plugins X, Y, and Z if you have the AMVapp?).

Please, I've found it very useful over and over again. :)

Very nice guide, my only real complaint would be the same one with all the guides on the site. There's no way to get back to the rest of the site once you open the guide, short of back a bunch, or editing the url.

Typo, main page:
Please note that this guide is intended to be read in its ENTIRITY.
should be ENTIRETY.

Also, avspostqual.html: DeHalo_aplha() -> DeHalo_alpha()

Would like to suggest that some of the newer codecs and formats (AAC, H.264, etc.) be added to the glossary.

I also like how "EADFAG" seems to have become the preferred abbreviation for the Guide to All Things Audio and Video, when only a few years ago I felt like I was the only one using it. :)

Also, a typo on the video codecs page, under WMV:
Disadvantages: Of course, its proprietary nature fails it, and it is not MPEG4 compatable.

Error by aspect ratio ?

Post by Tiiscool » Thu Feb 08, 2007 1:47 pm

Hello,

maybe there is an error:

"For NTSC you can make graphics at 720x540 and then resize them to 720x480 and they will look just like your dvd footage. "
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... atios.html

"NTSC Graphics: Make images at 720x528 and resize to 720x480 to have DVD PAR."

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... tios2.html

Best regards,
Ti
