Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Post by BBWF_Tyrant » Mon Jan 29, 2007 5:29 pm

Ok, this is my first AMV and post on here, and I hope to stick around, so could you please check it out and maybe let me know what you think? I've been editing for a few years now, and this is my first complete AMV project.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Anime: (I know it isn't all popular thanks to some annoying people, but I think it's awesome) Dragonball Z

Program used: Sony Vegas 6.0

Title: Jinzouningen Juunana Gou (Android 17)

Song: SpineShank - (Can't Be) Fixed

Length: 3:16

3000 kbps, and all the clips are high quality.

Hope you enjoy guys...

An excellent video and I'm normally a guy who is very critical.

The effects where well placed, served a purpose and weren't overdone. Editing was solid and you represented Android 17 as he really is. I liked the idea of an android with the lyrics: "I can't be fixed!", interesting and intelligent double meaning that showed you put a lot of thought into it.

Ofcourse, it is a Dragonball Z action video which isn't the most original out there, but this is so well executed, it doesn't matter.

Overall, fantastic for your first (completed) amv. I will be keeping an eye on you and I hope I won't be the only one.

People check this vid out!
"Hello, Rabbit," he said, "is that you?"
"Let's pretend it's not," said Rabbit, "and see what happens."
