I have no trouble downloading winamp videos and watching them, but when I try to import them to windows movie maker this error message appears:
The file C:\Documents and Settings\Oem\My Documents\My Pictures\Picture\amv clips\almost paradise.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.
Of course I have the codecs to play the file-I just played the damn thing!! >__<;;
Does anyone know what's going on, and what i can do about it please?

Or use VLC-Player:
http://www.videolan.org/
It should work. Almost WMP is a bad player for amvs. It can´t really handle with mp4 and such stuff.

oh, and I DON'T use downloaded clips to make an amv. I've never made one before, so I have fun practicing with them in movie maker but NEVER upload them as my own work. I'm an artist myself so I don't believe in stealing what other ppl work hard on.
