Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

very nice and sentimental...
tips:
1. disable the DIVX logo
2. beware of lipflap... dont let their mouths run too long, for alot of those you could have covered it by taking a still shot and using that instead of the "video" (im sure theres a way to take a screenshot in your program)
3. a tiny bit more beatsync (or cuts on the beat) would have made this a bit more effective. like when the music creshendos make the video get bigger too.
good points:
good clear picture for the resolution..
very nice mood sync..
things i would like to see:
larger resolution
fix the aspect ratio to widescreen
clean up the audio quality.
but for the file size and resolution its good.

Thank you so much for the advice. I read the tech. guide about resolution and aspect ratio, but it's all greek to me. The technical aspects of amving seem to be my sore spot. I'm not all that computer literate and neither is my husband, so I feel like a fish out of water sometimes.JaddziaDax wrote: larger resolution

Resolution: this is the size of your video in pixels
the size of your video was 320X240 (kinda small)
a good larger resolution (in widescreen aspect ratio) should be 640X350
(full screen would be 640X480)
Aspect Ratio: is the size of your video it should be comparing it from widescreen and fullscreen.... your resolution was a full screen aspect ratio...
its like this:
(wrong for widescreen)

compared to this
(correct for widescreen)

the audio quality is low because you made the file size so small...
it sounded tinny (or bitrated) like comparing a streaming internet raido to a CD
i donno how else to explain this... it was good for the file size i suppose O.o
either way no stres XD
