Uploading problem-Help??

Post by Lorensschoolofart » Wed Jan 24, 2007 3:15 pm

I wasn't quite sure where to post this or what to do. Um...yeah.

I uploaded a video to the wrong profile O.o. It was a profile I was either going to reload a video to or try to delete until a later date anyway.

I was wondering what I could do. Sorry about this.....

Oh yeah sorry just to add. I don't know how to edit the post so I hope it's not bad to double post, I'm very sorry if it's bad, I'll delete the post or something if it is, I just wanted to add that I haven't confirmed the video yet. When I go to confirm it, it has the video file but to the wrong video title. Any idea's on how I can fix this.

Oops. I explained myself so poorly. I didn't mean member profile, I meant video profile. I downloaded a video to the wrong video thingy, profile, title, um, yeah. Thanks a lot though. Maybe I should just tell the admin. I don't really wanna bother them though :/

OK, this clears things up. Just don't confirm the video. The FTP site ages files out and deletes them if they aren't confirmed. You can request upload permission for the correct video at any time and upload the right file there, then do the one that got munged again in a few days.

If the video that you misuploaded shows up as a local download, you can use the video deletion request form and specify the reason (you messed up the upload), and usually in short order the video will be deleted so that you can upload the correct file.

I thinks that what admin do fixing problem of his member here :? so anything that you can't or don't know you can go straight to him if that is for good. Though I will agree to what Kai have said if you know that the video isn't in locally confirm you can do that. But for me to be short cut go to admin and say you mess up your video when you upload it. ;)

Btw... as I guess don't hesitate to tell it to admin if you mess something. I'm pretty sure they understand you ;)
