Twas a present O: ... and it's actually not a TV, it's a 1080p monitor as it does not have a TV tuner. As for not using AE, it may be to prove a point, but its also cause I don't think I need it quite yet (ie: there is still quite many things I can do without AE), and I'm too lazy to learn it.

So, nope, I don't see any sadness in it at all - in fact, I'm quite happy with this setup : ]

Well, it can't be sadder than linking two unrelated traits.

I'd like to add that that TV makes for fun viewing sessions. The Fifth Element and ROS5 looked pretty sweet on it

You shoulda been there when we watched House of Flying Daggers.

And if Koop was spending more hours on an AMV because of not using After Effects, he'd do that no matter what sort of monitor he uses. He was doing it before he got that and he's doing it after. Like Trythil said, the monitor/TV is unrelated.

tis not the tool, it's what you do with it :)

and I won't plug my system too much...it's kinda old.
