)Framerate Woes - No Con Standard?

for me, the only vid I did where it would have made a difference was never entered into such a strict submission guideline contest (so I just entered the AVI file). This only surfaced twice for me - once when I realized that I had done the whole vid at the 23.97fps when the requirements for the mep stated 29.97fps and when I had to encode it for DVD for my own distribution. Now, I read the rules more carefully (that or I just make sure that everything I do is at 29.97fps )
