Thats awsm, congrats to the finalists. I guess people didn't like my entries though, lol. I wish I had still been able to see the contest I didn't plan far enough ahead though. Its pretty awsm to see some people on there that haven't gotten much attention before though, its great to have some less popular editors getting out there.

I'll leave it to someone else to post the winners and runners-up since I'm just on break at work, but I gotta say that Nightowl Productions got robbed in the Trailers category.

That silent movie treatment given to Metropolis was fantastic, right down to the soft screen edges. This is why relying so heavily on audience voting has such a downside--sometimes the real quality stuff gets overlooked because "it's too long" or "I don't know what that is, but it looks old".

.......... wow nightowl's video is absolutely fantastic. But yes I cannot see it catering to average con attendee. Heck I bet many of them had no idea that the style was that of the old theater newsreels.

But you know I expect as such from audiences.

The results should be posted soon. Vic had an 8 hour drive from ohio to philly and then another 2 hours to get to his house. He may be cranky, believe me I was in the car with him.
