Edit button in Donator's forum

We wouldn't use it to take back stuff we say, we'd use it to stir up shit. Make an insulting post. Wait for people to get pissed. Edit original post then flame people for taking what you said out of context (bonus points for reporting them to the mods). If there was an edit button this would happen, probably within 24 hours if I could find someone to get pissed at stuff I say anymore.

Actually, last I checked, both the AMV Announcements forum and the MEP forums have edit buttons for posts. (I'm sure I missed a few as well)

In other words, godix being in the Donator's Forum is Exhibit A against an edit button.

I'm not even in that forum, but if certain people are the problem, couldn't you possibly not allow them to use it? Or does this forum model not work that way?

I don't mean not allow them to use the forum, i mean restrict use of the edit button within a member's profile settings.
