.... lucky guess?
with ramonesfan i try not to be too mean, although i have a raging hatred for people with over 100 amvs... it makes me look bad... hint hint... but then again a lot makes me look bad... anyways, i say the best way to understand this is to watch for yourself and then say what needs to be improved upon...

And I'll say agian, how do you know that I didn't?

Also, why do you have a ragiing hatred for people who have over 100 amv's? What's wrong with that? I'm not dissing, just curious.

cause back when i hit 100 i thought it was awsome and original... then i heard of ramones fan... so i checked his vids and wasnt that impressed with what i saw.... 100 videos that were basically all the same... and most people who have over 100 videos only have like 1 or 2 worth watching... which is disappointing... and when people see how many i have they usually put me in the category with most other editors with over 100 videos... there are exceptions though... some editors with a lot of videos have a few good videos... but its sad that most editors who have over 100 make bad amvs... its kinda like the youtube effect... MOST videos on youtube suck... but people seem to think that because people put their videos on there, then their vids suck and its not the case at all... hope you understand...

Oh yeah I know what you mean but you know maybe one of the reasons why Ramones_fan may not have improved is because he may have stuck with the same type of anime or the same style and never learned from his mistake. That's a possibility. I will confess to you that I know who Ramones fan is and the posting he made is based from an email that I sent to him. I've been trying to help him improve his style a little. But basically its not that he sucks as a vid creator. He does have the ability to be good but he needs to drop a few bad habits and improve the flow and style of how he edits. However, if he is going to whine about it then I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear whining and complaning from someone I've tried to counsel.. I want to see the action and less of the talking.

Also, AMV4000 you shouldn't let that reflect on you. I personally in my own amv career have hit over 100 amv's and you know what, a great majority of them from back in the day, suck! I'm the first to admit that but what I also believe is that with time and listening to others, you can get better.

From learning from the people in my studio, I've grown a great deal. From developing friendships and alliances from people I've met on the .org I've grown there too.

Even from scathing critcisms of others I've improved there too. So, its not so much how many vids an amv creator can have - its about how they grow and develop throughout the years.

One thing I know about you, AMV4000 is that no matter what you've tried very hard throughout your career and all though I haven't always been very active in the org forums over the years. Believe me, I've paid attention to people who I think really have skill and style.

You shouldn't let anyone reflect upon your style. You are who you are because of what you can do and because of the fan base that supports you. Those around you know that because they know the type of vid creator you are.

yeah i knew you hit over 100... i check a few of your vids out a year or 2 ago... but i havent seen anything new from you since then... but from what i saw i was unimpressed... and im sure you've improved... but i appreciate you being nice and helping another amv creator improve, you can only do so much though.. I just cant respect amv creators who make a lot of videos that look like something made back in 2000... especially if their recent videos... I dont take editing that seriously, but i just dont enjoy being stereotyped... sure i like chicken and watermelon... but you know what... Editors with a lot of amvs can have some good vids... so... Alana, when i get my internet back up at home, i would like to see your best video... and i think that there is still hope for ramones fan.... he just needs to take critisism a little better, learn from what people have to say, and work towards making a better amv... *wmm isnt your problem, effort, time, and the desire to make a great amv are your problems*

I'll release my wmm 1 video as soon as its done to show what i mean....

I have two of my newest ones on the org now. I'd appreciate it very much if you'd look at my videos. Thank you. And your right, a couple of years ago - yeah I was mid-range. I've tried to improve a lot in 2006 because in 2005 I did slack.

I wasn't turning down your advice J.Alana. I was just trying to understand you a little better, that's all. I like what you're doing for me.

As for YOU, AMV_4000, I fucking hate these people who say that a good video should take weeks or even months to put together, because that's a load of BS. Plus if you don't have anything nice to say, why are you saying it at all!?!?!?

perhaps you should have her explain her advice rather than opening it up to a forum discussion
