  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

A literal AMV, such an obvious concept but it's hardly ever done.

Very nice artistic execution on this project. Good internal synch, the instrumental synch is there when it needed to be and the quality of the vid was delicious too(downloaded the h264 version).

Unfortunately, I dislike Nickelback and I'm not really a fan of Pokemon. :( So, to me personally, outside of its technical yumminess I can't really get into it. :? :?

BUT!! I have three friends who are huge Pokemon fans and also like Nickelback. So first thing in the morning I'm sending them this AMV, because it's definitely worthy of the recognition and the fangirlish praise they will heap upon it. ^.^

5/5 stars :D

*Skips off to Download your Mai-Hime stuff since that's more up my alley*

Having seen most of the Pokemon movies (albeit passively), you did a great job with your scene selection. It made the movie seem more action-packed than it really is. And isn't that what trailers and mvs are supposed to do?

Nicely done.

Exactly what an AMV should be. Absolute perfection. No flaws. Beautiful.

I guess I must be the only person in this thread who doesn't understand the point of the live action clips. I mean, sure, they didn't really hurt the video, but they didn't really add much to it either, right?

Aside from that, I liked it. Fun times all around. :)

I agree, That is what AMVs should be, perfect. Also all movies should be perfect, all food should be perfect, etc.. jk, I'm just being making fun of your odd comment. It's like you said an AMV should be perfection, like yeah, that is what all of them should be. I don't believe in perfection so your comment is lolwtfbbq to me.

I do believe though this AMV is awesome. Good job as always. This is probably the second pokemon video I cared to keep. I thought it was awesome. 5/5

you did something pretty awsome here.

took a band that i don't like, a song that i don't like, an anime that i don't like, and the "using actual music video in you amv" thing that i've always thought was retarded, and actually produced a badass video.

take a 5/5, 10/10, whatever. you've earned it
