The pictures from your grandpa's dacha in Karelia are absolutely beautiful! I really should go out in the nature more...

I was actually about to ask if you would have been able to visit a con in Helsinki last July, but you just sort of disappeared after flying to Russia.

You should've PMed me, I sort of checked my messages every other week or so...

That said, I wouldn't have been able to go since I only had a single-entry visa (I'm not a Russian citizen. It's pretty silly that I can travel freely wherever I want in the EU with my Canadian passport, but need to jump tons of hoops just to enter Russia.)

I REALLY want to go to Finland. In fact if I manage to suddenly make money the next year or the year after, I want to go to Russia by the way of Prague and a short diversion to Germany perhaps; then go to Estonia and see my relatives there; and then take the ferry to Finland. Apparently there's already multiple people who want me to visit Finland
