Yes, you can. Click on 'media generators' and find the text style you want, or you can create your own by changing the properties. Media Generators is one of the tabs under project files, like where transition and video fx are. Hope that helps. o.O Just make sure that if you want text to overlay your video, put it on a seperate video track above your video.

And yes, probably some of the biggest reasons you.tube is not well liked

1. people upload amvs and claim them to be their own, and people on you.tube do not know that there is an a-m-v.org, so they assume it is theirs. o.o

2. people upload anime episodes. that's just.....wrong.

3. low quality, lags, etc.

4. you can get banned from you.tube for uploading amvs, whereas here you can upload them without worrying about that. isn't that easier? o.o?

Thanks.

And while I am sure that some people do claim to own the videos created here, a lot of the ones I seen say they get from animemusicvideos.org, that is how I found out about this site in the first place. XD

Most of the ones I see are from JCD, he seems to be well known, and I looked at some of his vids, he is a great editor.

Another double post. >_>

Okay, I added some credits, and now when I go to play it doesn't play, it says "Media Offline" on the timeline on every clip. What's going on?

Wrong file, you need to right click on the huffyuv.inf file.
From the Huffyuv homepage wrote:To install Huffyuv just download the zip file above, uncompress the files to a temporary directory, right-click on the huffyuv.inf file and select "Install."
Worst case, you'd have to manually register the .dll.

...omg... Sony said that when I get update for Vegas 7 all bugs will be vanished... But now there is really big one.

Problem with Approximate time

It is not just little bit teasing to realize that I can't know how much time I need allocate to rendering. -.-

I just have to ask. With Virtualdubmod, what is the codec you need to remove the Divx YET keep it at a small size? All of the codecs i am trying are making it over a gig an episode, and are taking 21 hours to complete. :S

xvid >> divx but xvid is still not good for editing
x.264 >> xvid, but it too is not for editing.
lagarith is a good lossless codec, but that means that your files will be large

it's a trade off between if you want it to work and look good vs do you want to save space.

since you're eventaully going to be turning that episode into small clips, why not do it in virtualdub(/mod)?
this way, you can retain the flexibility and quality, but keep a relatively low filesize.
(~300 clips at ~1second each takes up ~5GB)
