Can you take me higher?

Hey,

What's some music with great crescendo/climax sequences?
GeneshaSeal - Dead Seals for Free

How about some Gustav Holst?

(Mars tends to be performed with one hell of a crescendo)
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Also, I can't omit a personal favorite - King Crimson's "Starless", a 12-minute ballad which spends its final 8 minutes as a buildup starting around single-note sequences.

The Beatles' a day in the life sports a pretty spectacular one right at the end, so does David Bowie's Life on Mars.

- Alfred Reed's "Russian Christmas Music"

- Gavin Greenaway's "Reflections of Earth" (you may know this from the new <i>IllumiNations</i> show at <s>EPCOT Center</s> Epcot in Walt Disney World, or from Disney's <i>Millennium</i> album)

And to answer the subject line, no, but I've heard that Mr. T can.

I think you've already heard them, but Ayreon's "Day 20: Confrontation" and Pain of Salvation's "Iter Impius" both have amazing crescendos. Unfortunately I can't think of any more right now.

They've been decoded, but we've yet to arrange a table and graph to properly place them in since they only exist in a 9 dimensional theory at the moment.
