Best Study Music

I know not every one here is a student, but I do know that a good chunk of us are. So here is my question, it being final exam season and all, what do you like to listen to when you study.

Personally I either go for progressive rock or classical music. I listened to every Rush album I own today while I was studying for my operations final(which I didn't fail, WOO!). Buefore though it was 4 out of 9 of Beethoven's Symphonies.

I rarely listen to music when I study because it's hard enough for me to concentrate, but when I do it's always music without lyrics, which I don't have a lot of. Thus it's limited to, I think, three albums: ( ) by Sigur Rós (even though there are lyrics on that album, it's all in a made-up language that I can't understand anyway), Raise Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven by Godspeed You! Black Emperor, or Fable by The Autumn Project.

Either classical music or relatively relaxing and unobtrusive background music, such as the OSTs for Onegai Twins, Haibane Renmei, etc.

Lately the best study music for me has been KiSh (russian heavy punk) - it kept me awake on those all-nighters. I don't know how much my study music differs from my usual music; in fact when I study I try to vary things as much as possible.

i usually make a play list with all the top 10 amv's. i dont watch them i just listen and put on repeat.

Oh, there is one trick I remember.

I never play music that I haven't heard before while studying, otherwise I get distracted and/or confused. It's always albums that I listened to at least a few times prior that end up on the study list.

That's on my study playlist occasionally! Shpongle and 1200 mics fit the bill of study music quite well for me.

Funny enough, my other two suggestions would have been Rush and classical (especially Bach).
