Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Love Me or Hate Me Naruto
Another Random Chaotic AMV, with about 12,500 hits on YouTube as of earlier today. Worth a watch.

you should have done more, we all like very much to download realy big files in wmv ... yeah yeah
hmm no timing and synching. awful no sense repeating. The music is going its way and scenes other way. Sometims it is good, but I think it is luck.
Work harder. Sorry for being cruel but if you want comments from this community you have to be prepared for it. And remember 12k hits don't mean anything sheesh

Hey,... don´t worry. Get away from .wmv Visit the guides here on the site:

This is true...but please understand, I'm working with a zero-dollar budget and no admin privledges, so I'm stuck with whatever WMM will let me do...and I made this thing a month ago. Some of the later ones are a little better, but not by much. Timing, if I take more time, I can do, but the lip-synching looks crappy no matter how I do it. My future AMVs, though, I'm gonna really take my time and get them right. My last one I saved the vid when it wasn't done a few times to make sure the timing was right.

Actually, you can. There are free programs (and I don't think you need admin privileges to install VDubMod) that can crop subtitles out, as demonstrated here:ChaosriderSilverSaiyan wrote:Subs, I can't do anything about...

(Technical note: ...though that guide is a little out of date, as it doesn't mention cropping in AVISynth at all. With the advent of DGVFAPI for programs that can't take AVISynth scripts, this has become a much more attractive option recently.)

See, here's my issue...all the clips I can get are either in .avi or .wmv format. I don't have the codec for putting .avi in(if I did, I'd use the raw version of the anime, problem solved), and VirtualDub won't support .wmv. Thus my current scenario. I'm stuck with the subtitles. I really wish I wasn't...Scintilla wrote:Actually, you can.
