too many small clips & 1-frame adjustments to show them all (unless I wanted to upload an image about 10,000 pixels wide)

and that's after I cleaned it up
all that red is "image offline"...I promptly deleted all of my clips for this project after I uploaded it here.
don't know why I'm still keeping the project file though...

I was always wondering how complex and/or organized the timelines of their Premiere / After Effects / Vegas / whetever projects looked like, so please post your timeline!

I guess I would be the first then! My first AMV Steadier Mind - probably a bit unorganized, but I think there are people who can be even more unorganized!

I'm kind of surprised by all the blank boxes. Does the clip content only show up at certain zoom levels, or is it an option that everyone has disabled, or what? :?

It's something that can be disabled. I usually keep mine disable while working, but I turned it on to get a final screenshot.

As for me, I'm a bit surprised to see people using 6 or more video bars for their clips. I like to keep my time line compressed to as few bars as possible so I can see the whole thing without taking up too much of the screen. Although I haven't really tried much in the way of effects, so I guess things could get complicated.
Final Doom "Amazing things will happen here soon."

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Substance "Everyone knows that it's a dangerous substance."

Transitions are finicky lots of times. I feel like rubber bands give me more control. I always shy out Video 1 and use it as a dumping ground for potential clips.
Personally I've always preferred the transitions, unless I actually wanted very specific sync. 90% of my fades are still in the video 1. Because of course, 90% of my editing (my last "video" excepted) I do in video 1.

And yep, I'm not even thinking of going beyond Premiere 6.5 - if it ain't broke......

And honestly, I wish I kept my project files, but alas...

Well, actually, I do have my only track for the Telephone project still around (that I re-built after losing it in an HD crash).

Very typical of my editing, actually. Certainly no smoke and mirrors on that. For some reason I'm proud of that.

i use 6.5 for the same reason as pwolf.
