You did a great job on this one -- I can't wait to see this movie. All you guys that have been makin amv's with this lately have done a wonderfull job. Prod, the only thing that bothered me with this is that the song seemed to have no real drive or musical conclusion. It didn't build up like I wanted it to, but you did well editing it in a way that made the song seem more interesting at the end. 4.5/5

Of course you do. It's me afterall.LockstocK wrote:i...fricken...love...this...vid :O
Yeh, the text is a 50/50 thing. Some liked it, some hated it, some were on the fence. It's a matter of taste, but i like it, so meh. And yes. The bracelet pulse is something i love, and an effect/style i'd like to use more in future videos.Reigna wrote:This video rocked. Your editing seemed really in tune to the music and it was awesome. Great atmosphere throughout the entire thing, and yeah, definitely a solid vid. I wasn't really feeling the text, but that's just me. Oh and that bracelet pulse at 1:45 was hawt XD Nice job, Prod
Yeh, I had to change the song around to fit the movie more (erasing part of the first verse, cutting down the finale). I agree with you though that the song doesn't build up to the end as well as I would have liked (See AtomX's video)blaku92 wrote:You did a great job on this one -- I can't wait to see this movie. Woot. Glad to hear it was different to Brads. And there is no way in hell I would let you show this at Waicon if I was sitting on the panel in front of those people when you did it |:<OropherZero wrote:lol so different to AtomX's use of this anime. Great job as always, too bad we don't have anymore time left to slot this in at our WAI-Con Panel, this showed good synch-age =(
Yay! Thanks Tor. I'm really glad you liked it.Tormentor wrote:What the?!
This is just so damn awesome prod, awesome qualit nice story, great choice of anime and well edited. There is simply nothing bad about the video as far as I am concerned (well I would have liked a different sync in one or two passages). This is just how to do it, feel saluted.
5/5
Well.... My idea came first, Brad's video came after, and my video came last. So.... a tie?JudgeHolden wrote:The age old question that we all ponder .... What came first? The Chicken or the Egg?

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Oh snap, a video with Edge of the Earth? Let's see what you did with it. Downloading
Edit:
It was alright, I didn't really get into it, especially since you cut the song up quite a bit and shortened it. I also had a different idea of what the scenes would look like, mainly because I already made a vid with this song so that made me not enjoy it quite as much as well as seeing AtomX's video within the last 10 minutes. 3/5

Pretty slick, clearly an entirely different video from Brad's and it's nice to see that come through with the editing and scene selection. I totally dug the hard overlays and rough cuts, really freakin crisp, definately the highlight of the vid for me. But the shake zooms? Kamaan man.
But yeah, definately solid stuff, and I actually didn't mind the audio edits at all, you made it flow damn well : up :
