how are you trying to play it? are you trying to play it from the bin...or on the timeline?

another thing: are you using an mp3? if so...you should convert your mp3 to wav audio for editing. (some programs don't work well with mp3 audio)

Yeah it is an mp3, but i found out something interesting. IT wont play on my headset for some weird lame reason. My deduction. I will restart my computer and if it doesnt work come back and look at the forums for the correct way to fix the problem. I have the steelsound vh2 headset so its great for catching that perfect rhythm in the song , and i have a niece who is sleeping so my speakers arent an option. Anyone have a suggestion as to how to get it to work so it goes through my headset? ((sound works for headset, just not in adobe.))

BTW both of them don't work .wav and mp3 both do not play on the headset while in adobe, for some reason.

so the headsets are working for everything else but adobe, however the speakers work if you use them. So i'd have to assume theres something wrong with the headset.

Dias didn't actually say that the speakers work in Premiere. If they don't, then it's almost certainly something in Premiere's audio preferences.

And it's called Adobe Premiere Pro (Pro 1.0 if you must put a number on it). :?
