Opinion? help? sugestions?

Hi, well im new here and i need kinda some help, tips and hints how to keep my intrest in a project im doing. I started realy entuiastic and all but it's starting to decreas.

Also i am determined to finish this project and i want to ask for some input on it. I would like to ask if my timing is good etc...

Im fairly new at this and would like to improve. So please help

im using the anime one piece. the song is from Dragonforce called Starfire.

I know i got a typo in the start "bruning" etc.
And im trying to show what kind of personality theyr captain has, and what sort of faith they have in him.

need anything else?

So far your timing seems okay - not great, but that always comes with time and practice. The pacing is fairly slow, and the subtitles seem to be doing more of the storytelling than the video itself.

If you're worried about having enough enthusiasm to finish the project, you might want to try cutting the song. Five plus minutes is a loooong time. That would probably force you to condense your thoughts, which would help with the pacing as well.

A pretty good start though.

i know the song is long, but i dont download songs, and that is the slowest song i got

i know the timing is abit off, and that the suptitles are doing alot atm, i hope that will change when i start adding the other members, cuz they have more fighting scenes etc, they have more story about them basicly. so the clips i got for Zoro are all in 1 episode... The others have a more of a veraiaty. so the story from the vid will be better (i hope)

and also thanks for the thing about pacing. I have a few ideas about speeding it up, but i belive it should not go to fast as im gona use it as an introduction to the crew.

crop your subs before editing... O.O (the Virtualdub Mod version method in that guide will work)

if youre having trouble finishing the video, my best suggestion is to take a break... run around in circles, or go jogging... exorcise can get the blood flowing to the right places and can help you think... plus you can come back to it later and see what you need to change

at 1:31 and 1:57 you left the audio on the clip.

could use shorter phrasing... i try never let my clips last longer than a single phrase in the lyrics... though i do see attempts at internal sync....

oops also be careful about lipflap... a characters running mouth can be distracting

thanks JaddziaDax, and about the clips in the video. They were intensioned to be with sound there, but i usualy dont go with the amv and cut the clips to fit the lyrics (that made me stop >.<) so im trying to match it with the music.
And your also right with that im trying to have a internal sync
