Vets: Why did you quit?

My e-peen grew so large there was no place left to go but down so I fictiously retired. Now I just troll AMV threads when I'm bored and think back to my glory days.

Secretly I'm still going strong as an AMV ghostwriter. I was involved in almost every winning entry this year.

P.S. I know the location of KC. He's buried under the Jet's goalpost. May the legend grow.

Well I started makin amvs with a compooter around 98 I made some VCR to VCR amvs back in 1995. I remember my first AMV experience came when I saw a few AMVs by Joe of Maboroshi Fame at the end of one of my Escaflowne fansubs. (and yes, this was before the series got licences for sale in america) By then there were already a lot of amv creators. But I consider the difference between new and old creators are those who made amvs before the org existed and those who came around after. (hence fourth to be BO and AO and yes us BO creators STINK)

wait, am I a Vet? I sure hope I am, but I don't see myself quitting. Slowing down yes, as all know a jobs do that to yah, but quitting, feck no, I'll find something to edit because I still dream up a video while walking down the road with my headphones on the same as I did 5 years ago.

I have never really quit in my mind and heart... I always want to make videos, but finding the free time is hard. My reward to myself once my house sells and I catch up on all my freelance work is I am going to make some videos again finally.

I can't wait to show off how rusty I am and have all the editors go... man he shouldn't have tried to make a comeback. lol I hope to have videos for next years AWA and will be in attendance.
