... yes -- Aspect Ratio's; and the signals which "trigger them" is an issue!

... no. I haven't been ignoring this board nor your answers ( not on purpose anyways -_-; )

I've run into an issue with the signal being sent by my DVD's and TV stations on Satillite:

1) my newest TV is HDtv Ready and automatically crops the screen from Cinematic to 4:3
when the Cinematic signal is not present ... my newest Capture Card does not do this -- ? why ?

2) is this Cinematic Signal something that can be added -or- a chip-set that I'm missing ... and what IS the signal itself that is Triggering these screen changes???

^___^ hehe, I know the info's out there ... I just don't know where to begin looking [ can you help me on this little problem .... possibly .. ?? ]
